Climb On
& Adventure Sports
Fest October
16, 2010
Peak Experiences Indoor Climbing Center, Blue
Ridge Mountain Sports, and The North Face partner
to bring the Climb On & Adventure Sports Fest
to the river city! This family fest celebrates
adventure sports in a safe, fun
environment.
The festival will feature a bouldering
competition, speed climbing competition, open
house, educational clinics led by a North Face

more! "This is an opportunity to
introduce climbing and other adventure sports to
an otherwise team-sport oriented region", said

Hidden
Rocks at George Washington National Forest,
VA
A gem of a training ground, perfect for the
end-of-the day blitz to nail a few lines, the
mid-week escape top rope or bouldering
solitude, or just hiking in an incredible setting
of forests, rock, and waterfalls.
~ mountainproject.com
Hidden Rock is 40 foot sandstone cliffs just
inside the George Washington National Forest in
Rockingham County. It's approximately 130 miles
from Peak Experiences, near Harrisonburg. If you
have GPS, use the coordinates. It can be tough
to find, hence the name Hidden Rocks.
