The first practice with us will be going over rules, expectations, climber etiquette, and how to boulder.
The second practice with us will be an LTR (Learn the Ropes). A comprehensive top rope belay class teaches you how to put on and check your harness, tying into the rope using a figure 8 follow through knot, setting up a belay device, and belaying using best practices. This will allow climbing club members to utilize our top ropes and routes.
After this class, your climbers should come in on their own to get certified before the third practice. Once these steps are over, you and your climbers can simply check in and climb during your scheduled practice times.
